[ETHERCAT] - Mapping Inputs to Outputs directly on master

Hi guys,

I wondering if the implementation of the NI Master Ethercar let to mapping directly an input to an output. For example, an analog signal. I've been using other windows ethercat masters and they let to make this.

Best regards

Hi Javier,

While there's not a way to directly map, you can wire the input to the output, e.g.

Hi¡

This is what we are doing right now, but we are looking for a more elegant way, for example changing some info on the xml files that the master load during the starting or something like this.

In other implementations of the masters (all of them for Windows systems) you can do it during the configuration of the network with an specific application (ESD workbench, EC-Engineer) or with an API.
