How to use layer 2 timestamping by PCI-1588

Hi,

I want to use PCI-1588 as a master of 1588 version 2 (Ethernet multicast) node .

But sample program is only for 1588 version 2 (UDP/IPv4 multicast) node.

Please give me an information on how can I setup PCI-1588 as 1588 Ethernet multicast nodes.

Hi yamaoka,

NI-Sync, the driver that supports the PCI-1588, currently only supports layer 3 packets. If you have any additional questions, I'd recommend posting to the PXI forum. I think you'll have better luck there with questions on the PCI-1588.
