Interfacing Beckhoff EK1100 with LabVIEW without using any other hardware Options

Hello All,

I'm new to Beckhoff & I have EK1100 with EL2809 & EL3054. I want to interface with EK1100 with LabVIEW without using PXI or cRio or any other hardware.

Is there anyone who can explain how?

I'm using the following sofwares & drivers.

1. LabVIEW2012
2. EtherCAT Acquisition Driver
3. EtherCAT Acquisition Library for LabVIEW
4. TwinCAT ADS Library v3.0.3

Please suggest at the earliest.

Hi Love, 

Unfortunately that isn't possible without an RT PC. You could setup an RT PC and use that instead of a cRIO or pxi however. There are several white papers on the requirements for a PC to be used with LV real time.
