7061 solartron schlumberger driver

Hi,

Could any one help me out with this. I have "7061 system voltmeter Solartron Schlumberger Phase Analyser" which  I want to interact with Labview 8.0 Labview, I don't have the driver and I need it to communicate with Labview.

Did you try searching the Instrument Driver Network? You would have found this.

Even without a driver, you should be able to communicate with it. You would, of course, need the programming manual.

Hi, Thanks for this..I have been able to communicate. The issue was with my device not fost set to GPIB mode.

Hi All,

Still on a mess. I am relatively new to labview. The VI I got online for 7061 solartron can acquire data but I want the data to be continuouslybe logged to a file. Also if I set the analyzer to acquire multiple channel data would I be able to separate the acquired data and log them separatly in a spreadsheet.

Hello uwo,

One suggestion I would have it to use the Write to Measurement File Express VI. This is not an out of the box solution but it would require minimal programming in order to get it to work. Hope this helps.
