7210 page-in mode

I am working with the NAT7210, and need to put it in page-in mode to write to the ICR2 register. The reference manual says to write the page-in auxiliary command to AUXMR. The only page-in command I can find is 50(hex), but it says that the command is not available in the uPD7210.

Is there another way to get it into page-in mode?

Thanks.

I can see how this is confusing.

The uPD7210 was a "7210-family" ASIC made by a different company. The NAT7210, made by NI, is fully compatible with any software written for the
uPD7210. The NAT7210 contains some additional registers which are accessed through the page-on command. The Page-in command you referenced will function as expected with the NAT7210. However, the Page-in command will not work with the uPD7210 as that functionailty is not implemented in the uPD7210.

Hmm.. so no way to page-in with the uPD7210 I take it.

Thanks.

The registers that can be paged-in do not exist in the uPD7210, so you are correct that there is no way to page-in with the uPD7210.

Are you using the uPD7210 or a NAT7210? The title of the thread and your first message stated that you were using the NAT7210, but since then, you have been talking about the uPD7210. As Collin stated, the uPD7210 doesn't support the page-in, but the NAT7210 does.
