Access to remote system GPIB card?

I have two computers running windows 2000 with one national GPIB card each. Is it possible to access the GPIB card of computer #1 (server) from computer #2 (client). How do I connect to the remote GPIB card?
Do I need to start a program on the server?

You can use remote VISA to access either of the cards. Note that you have to run VISA server on the server computer. See the VISA manual for more details
