Address conflict reported for PCMCIA-GPIB card not resolvable by manual changes

I have plugged in my GPIB-PCMCIA card. When Win 2k boots up, the NI troubleshooter reports a resource conflict, but no event is logged in the Event log, and the Device Manager does not report any conflicts. I've changed both the IRQ and the I/O address range several times, but the same error (resource conflict) continues to appear. Any suggestions?

Hello,
I understand that you are using the PCMCIA-GPIB card. Which version of the NI-488.2 drivers are you using? Also, what is the make and model of your laptop? I would also like to know what type of PCMCIA cardbus controller your laptop uses (you can check this in Device Manager). This information will help me better narrow down the issue.
Thanks.

Driver version is 1.70 (Downloaded a few days ago from NI site). Hardware is Dell Latitude, 1.8 GHz, 512 M RAM, running Windows 2000, Service Pack 3. Controller is TI PCI 4451 Cardbus Controller.

Hello,
Have you tried using the second PCMCIA slot on the laptop to see if it behaves differently? This is sometimes the solution. Also, try the card in another computer to replicate the issue. If the card doesn't work in another computer, then the card may have some issues.
