Newby to LabVIEW programming. Setting up an Agilent 33220A with LV8.6 Base, using ethernet communication. Eventually, I will have 4 Agilents attached to this system. Using static IP assigned to the Agilent: 192.168.1.11 Connected to a secondary ethernet adaptor assigned 192.168.1.10 for the private network. MAX finds the Agilent as a Remote System, but returns a VISA error OxBFFF00A7 (VI_ERROR_MACHINE_NAVAIL) in Devices and Interfaces, and displays p&p NI-VISA as Software. I have downloaded the driver ag33xxx (plug and play, not project related), but no examples show up for ag33xxx. MAX shows NI-VISA 4.4.1 as installed software with NIVisaServer.exe and NAvisaic.exe.
Control of the Agilents will simply be start/stop using on-screen pushbutton and changing operating parameters such as frequency and duty cycle.

Using the Remote Systems is simply not correct.
Right click on Devices and Interfaces and select Create New>TCP/IP Resource. Follow the directions from there. There are some differences depending on the type of network instrument you have.
