Hey Gaetano:

I know its been a long time since you posted your request, but maybe you can help me. I'm currently in the process of controlling some Sierra mass flow controllers with LabVIEW. I was wondering if you finally got to control yours. If you did, in the end, what did you do about the CRC bytes? Did you write your own instrument drivers?

Hi,

I am sorry, but I eventually decided to control the flow meters in analog mode. I had the hardware for that though ( an input/output analog card).
