Did you mean:

BK Precision 85XX Run Constant Current Mode Operation.vi"

I am trying to interface BK Precision 8500 Electronic Load with LabVIEW. I need the .vi file so that I can get access to the .vi block diagram of the same. I am using it in Constant current mode. Basically I want to change the load of my DC -DC converter by changing the current. Could someone please help me get access to this .vi block diagram? I have a Student version labVIEW in my system. I don't know if that is the reason I am not able to view the block diagram when I got this .vi link in NI Example Finder.

The link for the .vi block diagram:

BK Precision 85XX Run Constant Current Mode Operation.vi

How did you gain access to this VI? Did you use LabVIEW to search for the BK drivers and access it that way? If not, I can help you navigate to the drivers and examples. Also, when you have access to the example, is the front panel just gray or does it have a gray grid? If it is gray with no grid, it may be locked and you won't be able to access the block diagram. If it has a grid, you should be able to press "Ctrl" "E" and view the block diagram. A student version of LV should not prevent you from accessing the block diagram, that is if it is available for viewing in the first place.

I downloaded the driver and was unable to open the VI itself from the example finder. Error message about the path

Can you try the examples again?  I just tried and they seem okay. You should be able to view the block diagrams.

Using 2010, there is no problem when I browse to the VIs and open the project. From the example finder though, I get the message:

"That file could not be found or opened. You may need to reinstall your examples."

Then it gives the path to the example. I installed the driver by going to the Tools menu and Instrumentation>Find Instrument Drivers. I just now deleted the driver and did a manual download. After restarting LabVIEW, the example finder now works. I can't explain why but it all seems okay now.

I think the op meant VI and not block diagram.
