BSOD Parity Error with PCI-GPIB

I'm having some problems with a PCI-GPIB card that has lead to multiple blue screens of death/BSODs showing a Parity Error. For a long time, I was using the PCI-GPIB card to communicate with a Yokogawa WT1600 power meter with no problems whatsoever. Recently, the computer has started to have some trouble seeing the GPIB card and/or Yokogawa.

At times, it would not detect the GPIB card at all through Windows device manager. Other times, it will detect the GPIB card but I won't be able to see the Yokogawa through MAX and it will fail the hardware test through device manager. Sometimes, when I'm scanning for hardware changes through the device manager, it will crash and show the BSOD stating Parity Error. After this occurs, it often crashes right after showing the Windows XP screen upon boot and it takes multiple restarts just to get into Windows. Rarely, it will work perfectly fine and the computer is able to see and communicate with the WT1600 through GPIB.

I've tried swapping GPIB cables but it still crashed. I've checked the drivers and they are updated to NI-488.2 2.8.1 already. When I took out the PCI-GPIB card I was able to reboot and scan for hardware changes multiple times with no crashing, but when I placed it back in and booted, it crashed immediately. I've installed the card and drivers onto a separate computer running XP as well that's not connected to any instruments and I haven't been able to reproduce the error/crashing on it yet.

Any ideas?

A bit more information: I've connected an NI GPIB-USB-HS to the computer and WT1600 and it's worked fine so I don't believe it's a problem with the instrument itself.

Good TroubleshootingSmiley Very Happy- You seem to have proven that your PCI GPIB card has been damaged.  Replace it and you are golden!
