C# example code using visa32. viOpen() not finding GPIB device

I am working on a DAQ system using an agilent 34970A. I started with some example code to open the visa session and read some voltages. It works fine with the RS-232 interface, however the GPIB interface is returning the following error on a call to viOpen: -1073807195. Apparently this means the address type is valid, but the specific address is not configured. However, I checked the agilent connection expert and it is definitely connected at the address specified. I am using the visa32 dll. I am not sure how to troubleshoot further as I cannot step into the dll.

It does not sound like you are using any NI hardware or software so I'm not sure why you are posting here. Have you checked with Agilent about the error you are getting?
