Can I simulate a DAQ card using IVI drivers in Labview?

I need to develop and debug a program in a PC without the DAQ card that it is in the measuring site. I thought about using IVI drivers but I'm stuck, can it be done in the first place?
I use Labview 6i on a PC with win2K.

Hello-

It is possible to write an IVI driver for the DAQ cards, but then only the IVI functions could be simulated. It may help to use a program like Virtual Network Computing (VNC) to connect the computer with DAQ remotely.
