Can`t configurate my RS232 with Visa

Hi,

I`ve got a problem, I don`t manage to communicate with anyone of my instruments, it looks to be a VISA error.

When I use Visa Interactive Control, I don`t see my COM1 !

Which version of VISA do you have installed? also is your Windows Vista OS 32 or 64 bit? Does the operating system itself see COM1 ok, and is this a built in COM port or a usb-rs232 converter?

Sorry that's my bad, I misread Visa as Vista alongside another request, if you could let me know the version numbers your running that'd be great, thanks.
