Can the Labview MODBUS VI's be modified to send a 32 bit address?

We need to write a value to a 32 bit register in a CT Motion Drive.  The Modbus VI's available in Labview only allow a 16 bit address.  Can These be modified to write a 32 bit address?

Hi Wade,

When you talk about the Modbus VIs in LabVIEW are you referencing the MODBUS Library for LabVIEW? If so, which of the functions are you trying to use that are limiting to 16 bits? I'd imagine all it would take is diving into the subVIs and changing the data types to 32 bit but I'd like to look into the functions themselves before recommending that you go through and try that.

Regards,

Peter W.
