Can the PCMCIA-GPIB and GPIB-USB-B be used together on a windows 2000 machine, they don't seem to be supported by a common driver (1.7 vs. 2.0)?

Can both these drivers be installed simultaneously? I was worried that installing v2.0 drivers to use a USB GPIB adaptor would forever hose me from using the PCMCIA adaptor again.

Unfortunately, both cannot be on the same machine at this time. The next GPIB driver will support usb, enet, pci, and pcmcia formats. I cannot give you a release date on the next driver, but we just released 2.0 a short time ago and the next release will not be in the immediate future.

I believe many of us are anticipating the next version which is one-4-all.

I'm in trouble for not having support too.
I lent my GPIB-USB-B to an apps engr. for his trip, and got a temporary PCMCIA-GPIB card from another engineer instead. But now I can't use it without undoing the s/w that will make my GPIB-USB-B unusable when my unit comes back in a couple days. So, I'll have to do both the uninstall & install twice.

We are approaching the beta phase for the next driver version. If you are interested in participating, please sign up at the http://www.ni.com/beta website through GPIB Beta. When you fill out the beta information, it would also be very helpful to know what manufacturer, model, PCMCIA adapter (cardbus controller), and OS make up your laptop.
