I am trying to make Labview communicate with Ametek nVision Reference Recorder. But when I connect it to sytem having LabVIEW 2013, nVision Reference Recorder is not getting detected in MAX. What could be the problem? I have downloade the required driver from "http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=3426BDE9241347A3E05400144FFB03..." and same has been put in "National Instruments\LabVIEW 2017\instr.lib" folder . Software list in MAX shows all required drivers like NI-VISA 5.4 and Serial 488.2 are installed.
Solved..I was having multiple LabVIEW versions installed in my PC..I have un installed all and installed only LabVIEW13 again...After this device got detected in MAX..but I am really not sure of this method is correct or not..
