Configure VME-GPIB to use P2 Connector

We have purchased several NI VME-GPIBs recently and expected to be able to use the IEEE-488 interface through the backplane via P2. NI sales and field engineers told us that the VME-GPIB does have IEEE-488 on P2. So we ordered the boards via 778578-01 as instructed. We have the boards in our lab to begin using but P2 IEEE-488 connections are not on the board!! I can see where configuration jumpers (zero ohm)can be installed to configure the board to use P2. Is this configuration to be done by user or NI? If NI then what part number should we have ordered.

We apologize for the misinformation. The VME-GPIB has the capability of routing GPIB signals to the backplane via P2. However, the standard VME-GPIB that is available now does not. We do not have a separate part number at this time. Please contact your sales engineers, and we can work with you on finding a solution.
