Controlling Pulnix gigabit ethernet camera with NI 8231 GigE interface card

Hi

I want to Control Pulnix gigabit ethernet camera with NI 8231 GigE interface card with labview code. Can anuybody explain me how can I acess my required ethernet port in my lab view code tp acess the camera?

Hello Imran,

The first step would be to ensure that you can communicate with the camera in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).  Once you have verified this, you should take a look at the example VIs that come with the IMAQdx driver software.  These examples will be in the LabVIEW example finder under Hardware Input and Output » IMAQdx.  These examples should get you started in developing your own acquisition VIs.

Also, please take a look at these two articles.  They discuss the principles of GigE cameras and how to get started with them.
