Controlling USB6229 through network connection

I have a USB6229 DAQ device connected to a computer via USB cable. I need to be able to control it (i.e set and run measurement tasks) from another computer connected to the same local network. Is this possible? Thanks.

Although this can be done with VISA devices, DAQmx does not support this functionality.

Could you guys establish a remote desktop connection to the remote machine and run whatever DAQmx code/tasks from there instead?
