Convert VI program generated by LabVIEW 3.1 to be used by LabVIEW 6.0i or higher

Can anyone tell me how to convert existing VI program generated by LabVIEW 3.1 to VI program which can be manipulated by LabVIEW 6.0i or higher?

You will need a free conversion kit from NI to upgrade the VI to LV4. See here for more details.
Please note that the oldest version that can be opened by LV 8.5 is LV6. Therefore you will need an intermediate version (LV6, LV7 or LV8.2) to upgrade the resulting LV4 VI to LV6 or later to finally open it with LV8.5.
