If it's hex data it's not "indiscriminate". It would be perfectly correct, but not, as Albert noted, human-readable.

So if I can't understand it then how do I go about distinguishing the data to start communication and data transfer?

You can do what I had described earlier. Or, you can try really, really, hard to try to find documentation.

I've got the Hex from the device while it sits there waiting for a command.

Not sure where to go from here.

So, a new development. I sat down with portmon and kind of just watched the transfer of information as I let the bike idle and kind of try to figure out where to go with the code from here. I've attached a Notepad file with the section of it.
I know I'm asking for someone to really spell it out for me to get this or really get involved to help me figure this all out, but any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I don't think you truly comprehend what you're asking to be done. You're basically asking to reverse engineer a communication protocol with no documentation. This is not trivial, and can take MANY man-hours to do, especially since you don't even have human-readable information. Even with the bike idle the stream of bytes is meaningless without some frame of reference. What information is the bike sending back? Are they numbers? If so, what kind, what order? Or, are some of the hex values to be interpreted as a bit mask? You will be far better off if you contact the manufacturer to get information on the communication protocol.
