I am trying to get some older Tektronix DOS programs running under Windows with a PCI-GPIB and I am not having any success doing so.
I have them running perfectly in DOS using a GPIB-232CT-A, PCII/IIA, and a AT-GPIB/TNT.
I have enabled the DOS support in Measurement and Automation Explorer and I have changed DEV1 to TEK_SA in the Program Files/National Instruments/NI 488.2/Bin/gpibconf.exe file. I configured gpibconf.exe to be identical to the DOS settings for ibconf/gpib.com.
In DOS, I am able to boot with a floppy in my A: drive and run the programs from C:
I am using WIN98SE which I figured would be the most compatible operating system for doing this with. The PCI-GPIB works perfectly in Windows with the same instruments using Windows based GPIB programs.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can get these older Tektronix DOS programs to run under Windows with a PCI-GPIB board?
