We have a number of Kontron PC's with multiple PCI slots all populated. Every so often, when the PC is started from cold, one of the cards fails with the following error in Windows XP Device Manager:
"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)".
Looking on the Internet I get the impression there should be another device with the same conflict, but no one has spotted this. Rebooting the PC (Windows Reboot) clears the fault. Looking at the System Info Tool on three identical PCs with identical cards in the same slots the card (APX1553 Dual Stream) is sharing IRQs with some other devices:
PCI-GPIB
PCI-6602
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
One of the three is also sharing the IRQ with USB 2.0 controller.
Is there any known conflicts between the above cards? A possible solution is to move the AIM APX1553 Dual Stream card to another PCI slot, but then it just conflict with a different card.
Any suggestions?

Hi Chris,
This KB should go some way to explaining your issue:

I would recommend looking to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your PC.
Kind Regards,
