Do you have IEEE488 (PCI) card I can use in DOS

I need a IEEE488 interface board (PCI) that I can use with my DOS based diode tester software. I program in a combination of assembler and FORTH. I have used the GPIB-PCIIA in the past but PCs with ISA slots are becoming rare. Can you suggest a suitable board ?  Regards   George F.

Hi George:

There is no driver for a PCI-GPIB board in DOS.  However if you can run your program from a 32 bit operating system like Windows XP you can use the XP driver and enable DOS support with it.  Please refer to the following knowledgebase: Will My GPIB Board Work with DOS?.

Emilie S.
