Does NI-488.2 2.3.1 support PCIe-GPIB (PCI Express) with Mac OS X?

Now that the new Macs are all PCI express (2 four lane and 1 eight lane slots) will the current drivers work with this or does there need to be updates to the kernel extensions to access the PCI registers? Since most of the register level access will be the same it may "just work" but it would be nice to get an official statement that it does.

Moving forward, we do expect to support this at some point in the future since the new Macintosh computers will not support the PCI-GPIB.  Version 2.3 of the NI-488.2 driver does not currently let you use PCIe-GPIB boards in a Macintosh.
