Does NI-VISA running under Linux support PCI register level development

I am developing a LabView driver for our PCI card. It appears that all of the programming functionality is in LabView for Linux for talking to PCI based devices, however I have not found anything in the NI-VISA (2.6) that indicates that NI-VISA for Linux supports PCI devices. How can I get my card recognized by the VISA system, so that I may program it?

Thanks for your question, but NI-VISA does not currently support PCI/PXI on Linux. However, we do plan to add this in a future release.
