Hi,
I am continuously trying to run the NI software to get my HP33120A to communicate VIA GPIB. After installing PYVISA and going through all the steps of installing NI-488, I still am unable to get my python script to communicate via GPIB. The resources on Mac for exploring the GPIB ports do not work well either. My device is registering that a USB hub was connected, however there is no GPIB port being read on my system. I need help from anyone on the latest version of MACOS. Are there any work arounds or am I doing something wrong. I see ASRL ports loading into python. I see them also in the NI-VISA Configuration software. NI MAX just crashed, but in the NI-VISA CONFIG I see a usb device that is the GPIB and I know this since I confirmed it with pulling it in and out.
