ENET RS232 - Data not in real time

I have an ENET RS232 4 port installed on XP Pro. I am reading data from a GPS. The data that I get is not the realtime data, when I look at the GPS GMT time it is always behind real time of the computer. I am not certain what is the firmware version since my installation is overseas. Any recommendation

How old is the data? It should be no more than 100-200ms (depending on network traffic).
