Error -1073807246

Hi

i'm using NI 8423/4 and NI 8422/4 cards,Initially after cards are configured,NI Serial troubleshooting wizard shows all ports are passed,

But When i restart the system,NI Serial troubleshooting wizard shows all ports are passed except COM3 port,COM3 gets failed irrespective of card type.

Card works fine when i checked with other system,this problem happening only for COM 3 port in my system,i'm using 8196 controller.

When i try to Access Failed COM3 port in labview,i got this following error message

Error -1073807246 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi

Possible reason(s):

VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0072) The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it.

I tried this link also but not able to solve this issue,

Need to know how to solve it.

I've seen windows expecting an infrared port at that position, maybe that one is enbled and so VISa cannot get to it.
Look in the bios of your system

Does COM3 appear properly in MAX? Can you communicate with the port in Hyperterminal or with VISA test panels? Does the port appear with errors in Device Manager?

If you change the port assignment in Device Manager, can you communicate with the port? This is done by opening Device Manager, right clicking on the port, and going to Properties. Click the Advanced button on the Port Settings tab. You can then change the port to an unoccupied COM number. Make sure to specify a number that is not already in use.
