Ethernet communication using VISA : Error Code 0xBFFF003E could not perform operation because of I/O Error

Hi,

I'm a newbie for Labview. I'm trying to communicate with my board through ethernet cable using labview..

I created "New VISA TCP/IP Resource" and chose " Manual Entry of Raw Socket" and entered the host IP addr and Port no and all as instructed in the labview tutorial.

When I tried to communicate through MAX - VISA Test panel, I got the Error Code 0xBFFF003E could not perform operation because of I/O Error. I'm not sure what should be done for this.

I can communicate with my board using the "ping IPaddr" query using cmd. But VISA communication is not happening.

Please help me out.

this is working now. I had given wrong port no. Then the MAX started working
