Event structure with true value change

In my code I have value change event for three buttons which executes even though button is ON or OFF i.e.. Value change event. I want to change that option to true event i.e.. When ever button glows then only event should arise. How can I do that?

You can change the mechanical action of the buttons.

right click on the button on the frontpanel and select one of the latch mechanical actions.
