Exe get hanged?

I have developed visa based application for temparature configuration.. its exe works on desktops(with windows xp) properly, but when i installed it in one laptop(having same configuration & operating system as desktop) it gets hanged and when i try to close it through task manager it gives prompt as 'Resetting VI manager' whereas in other laptop it worked properly.

May i know why this happens. Is this a fault of Laptop configuration or operating system or my software.

Did you include all of the necessary drivers in your installer. You would need the LabVIEW and VISA runtimes as a minimum.

But there is no option of adding visa driver in labview7.0...we have added labview run time engine only and with that it is working properly on all desktops.....we found that problem with only one laptop.i.e exe got hanged..So we want to know why this problem occured on that laptop.

Yes, there is an option to include the VISA driver (serial only) with an installer in 7.0 and you must have done that or manually installed NI-VISA on all the pcs or they would not work either. Verify that it's actually installed on the single laptop. If it is, then I'm unsure what the problem could be. Have you tried uninstalling and doing a reinstall?
