GPIB-ENET100 IP address configured to 127.0.0.2 (oops)

I am directly connected from a IBM Thinkpad T42 to a GPIB-ENET100 through a crossover cable.  I've successfully configured the box many times for my lab in Santa Clara, CA.  However, I am setting up a lab in Shanghai and was experiencing low throughput (i.e. the GPIB commands were taking excessively long to complete).  I changed the GPIB-ENET100 IP address to 127.0.0.2 in hopes the local loopback addresses would have better performance.  However, now I can no longer communicate withe the GPIB box.  How do I reset the IP address of the GPIB box?

Sincerely,

Curtis

Hi Curtis,

This is the manual for Windows XP/2000/NT, but it's the same for all operating systems.

GPIB ENET/100 Manual

See page 2-4. You should be able to just use the configuration reset button.

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Matt S.
