GPIB-USB-HS "Instrument not found"

Hai ,

            I have connected my laptop with signal generator using GPIB USB HS interface card .

I have installed NI 488.2 version 2.7.3. in myaptop.

After i connected to my laptop In device manager , i can able to see "National Instruments " under that "GPIB USB HS"

But in the Measurements & Explorer tab , after i gave scan for instruments , it is showing "instrument not found"

Can any one please help me ? It is very urgent . How to find the connected instument gpib address?

Which instrument are you connecting and is the connector good connected?

I've seen that the usb-gpib-hs is a bit bigger than a gpib connector itself and on an old Rhode and Schwarz generator almost fitted, but not good enough.

try a cable extra.

i have connected with IZT DSG2000 signal generator . Also "Ready " Led is illuminated in GPIB card.

Looks there is plenty of space on the connectorside
