Getting error message in GPIB add hardware wizard

I reinstalled a ISA AT-GPIB/TNT card on a windows 2000 machine. The hardware shows up in device manager without an exclamation points and says that its working properly. All the hardware configurations agree with the jumpers on the card but for some reason when i try to add the GPIB interface for this card the Add GPIB hardware wizard gives me an application error "The instruction at "0x6ab014ad" referenced memory at "0x493502f" the memory could not be "written."    This card had worked the previous week any idea what is causing this error?

I am not sure where you are seeing this error message.  Once the device shows up properly in the Windows Device Manager, you should be able to simply refresh the device list in Measurement and Automation Explorer and see the device.  It should not be necessary to manually add the device in MAX if it is already present in the Device Manager.  To refresh the device list, press F5 in MAX, or select View->Refresh from the toolbar.
