Hi I'm a student and
I want to write an application that controlls a external component over
a IEEE NI PCMIA card and gives data back.
I have the documentation of the component including all comand strings.
The component is currently installed over the GPIB interface, with this
I can send strings and read out data out.
I want to use BorlandBuilder under Win2000 for this , and I found the
examples 🙂
Where can I find some more documentation ?
I don't need graphic output or mathematic processing for the first !
If I intend (later !) to buy addtional developing components what do I
need (for (RT processing, mathematical calculations and graphic output
?) But keeping BorlandBuilder as developing environment (Is this OK ?
possible ? what'
s recommended ?)
Whats the advatage of Labview is it faster with data transfer than C++
over GPIB ?
In the last step :
How many sense it makes to think about writing an new driver for that
component (IVI) (current driver is LabVIEW)
