Help with GPIB driver on Ubuntu

I try install ni4882-2.9.1f0 driver on ubuntu 14.04 with command bash ./INSTALL--nodeps and hava error as bellow:

Hi cuinhuhui123,

 

Ubuntu is not a supported Linux flavor at this time. This means the software was not developed for Ubuntu and is not guaranteed to behave as expected.

 

That said, this forum post addresses similar errors when installing the same software (NI-488.2 2.9.1f0, albeit for CentOS) by installing the most recent version of the NI-488.2 driver. I suppose it couldn't hurt to try installing the latest standalone driver here. The most recent version is bundled within the NI Linux Device Drivers (July 2018).

 

If you still receive the same error, it may be in your best interest to switch over to a supported flavor of Linux.
