The situation is this, Agilent has a driver that allows the instrument to work but my programs were done using NI gpib cards. So trying to use the usbto gpib cable doesn't communicate with my programs. So I was tring to use NI VISA to connect to the instrument. I run the Driver Development tool it works. I can now see the USB cable in the Measurement & Automation explorer but know my Agilent cable locks up with all three lights on which means that a driver is missing. When I go in to NI-Visa it gives me other devices with a Quesstion mark for the devices connected to my cable and doesn't allow communication to them because it doesn't see them thought the cable. Can you please help if you can thanks.
