How can I install my pcmcia-gpib card in my portable computer, Toshiba Satellite

We have a pcmcia-gpib card but we can install it, the computer detect it but say we've got an interface sequentially problem...how can iI fix it ?

Make sure that you installed the NI-488.2 driver before installing the PCMCIA-GPIB card. The general procedure for installing NI hardware is to have the driver on the system before inserting the hardware. You should also verify that you have the correct version of NI-488.2, which can be done by clicking on the Support tab at the top of this page, selecting GPIB under Option 2, and selecting "Where can I get the latest GPIB driver" under Option 2 of that page. Verify that you have the correct driver for the appropriate operating system.

You might also double check that the card is showing up correctly in the Device Manager for your operating system. If there is a resource conflict, resolve that before proceeding with the Getting Started Wizard.
