How do I get the PXI-8433/2 to use RS232?

I have a PXI-8433/2 card.  How do I get it to communicate using RS-232?

First, you need to follow page 2 of the Serial Installation Guide for PXI serial installation.  When you install the drivers for your device, this will also install example programs that you can use to communicate to your device.  What application development environment are you using?

The PXI-8433 series is only capable of communicating with RS-422 and RS-485 devices. The RS-232 equivalent of your hardware is the PXI-8432/2, which is a two-port isolated RS-232 interface.
