Memory allocation accumulates while program runs and accumulates data from a device on a GPIB interface. Using Visual Basic Ver. 6 on Windows NT4.0, ReDim and clearing and resetting the GPIB does not free up memory. Only exiting and restarting seems to free up memory. Is it possible to clear or reset memory buffers while the program is running?
