How to communicate TEK TDS3052 with a PC?

I have bought the comunication module TDS3EM(with a Ethernet port),who can tell me how I can control it through Labview by a PC(with a network card). Now I have successfully setup the ethenet adress, and if I apply a "Ping" command in the windows, there is a correct return. Also when I launched the NI software VISA Interactive Control, the computer can found the instrument(GPIB8:2:instr).I don't what I should do next? Can I use the IVI GPIB driver for TDS3052 in our web site?Who can tell me, thank you very much.

Hello :

I found some examples that might be of help. If you go to ni.com >> Technical Support >> Advanced search (below option 3 box) >> and type in "Communicating Remotely with a GPIB Instrument" once and "Testing an IP and determining if its on the same network" another time you will get them. These examples are useful when using one of our GPIB-ENET boxes, you can probably tweak them for your application. You need to have NI-Visa & IVI to make them work. Some more examples can be found throught the LabVIEW startup screen, Example >> I/O Interfaces >> GPIB >> LabVIEW<->GPIB

Our online DeveloperZone contains IVI driver downloads. You can get to it through the following steps:
1. Go to http://www.ni.com/.
2. Click on the link for "NI Developer Zone"
3.
At the left, click on the link for "Resource Library".
4. Click on the link at the bottom for INSTRUMENT DRIVER NETWORK >> (IDNET) Downloads.

Hope this helps. If you have any further queries, please let us know.
