How to control a Lasercontroller (LDC-3908) via RS-232

I am using LabView 8.6 and want to control the temperature and power of my Lasercontroller (LDC-3908) via RS-232 interface.

Here are the basic hardware/software specs I am cureently working with:

Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3

LabView 8.6

Board:PCI-6115

Accesssory: BNC-2110

NI-DAQmx: 9.2.2

Does anyone have a standard VI which will allow me to control this device remotely?
