How to develop a new class?

I am developing an IVI driver for an instrument that does not match with any of the existing five classes, I can create the the instrument specific driver with the LabWindows Wizard, however the problem that I have is, once I have two different drivers of the new class I don't know how can I call them since I need the generic class that can call any of the two specific drivers!! is there any way to do so?
Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately, it sounds like you need a custom class driver since the instrument does not fall into any of the 5 classes. National Instruments has Consulting Services that could help you or write the driver for you. If you wish to work with National Instruments, please send an email to instrument.drivers@ni.com.

The IVI Foundation is in the process of approving 4 new classes of drivers: RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, and Digital. If your instrument falls into one of these categories, then you may consider waiting. National Instruments will probably have these class drivers out in the next year.

Good Luck.
