How to 'find' GPIB-ENET/100

I am trying to connect to a GPIB-ENET/100, but my system (using the measurement and automation explorer) doesn't detect when prompted to look for it. The device shows up on another computer on the same connection, however mine will not find it. I have the same workgroup and internet settings of said other computer.

Any ideas?

Hello.

Thank you for posting to the NI Discussion Forums.

Since you are able to detect the GPIB-ENET/100 on another computer, I am fairly confident that this is not a hardware issue, but a software issue on one specific PC.  In order to detect your device, you need to have our 488.2 driver installed.  This will allow your computer to talk to your device.  If you do not have a version of 488.2 installed, please visit:

488.2 driver
https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-488-2.html

This document contains step by step troubleshooting tips and configuration instructions.  If the problem persists, could you provide more information about your setup?  Information such as the operating system, the version of 488.2 installed, any differences between the working PC and the nonworking PC would be great in helping me gain more knowledge about what is going on.

Let me know if this helps!
