How to map GPIB-USB-A to a COM port in xp?

I'm using a GPIB USB-A to connect my Yokogawa WT210 power meter to my PC running winXP. The 3rd party software that I have to use to communicate with the power meter is expecting the device to be on a com port. Is there functionality built into the NI software suite that will map the GPIB USB-A device to a logical com port in widows? Thanks!

There is no com port software possible in a gpib port.
You probably can connect either (serial or gpib) to the instrument.
For each you have separate cabling and separate software.
On a higher level in LabVIEW they can be merge into one instrumentdriver but the hardware
should be connected correctly first.
