How to measure a point per 1 s in HP 34401a

Hi everyone,

i am trying to with Labview 2009  complete fast measurment in HP 34401a,i hope to measure a AC Voltage per second in HP 34401a,but i don't know how to do it, can anyone give me some ideas?thanks in Advanced

Dear Jetfire,

For your application you can Use the already build IVI Driver for the Agilent 34401 Meter. This VIs supports also the HP 34401a with every Interface such as USB, Serial and GPIB.

It's not an actual IVI driver and there is no need to download it. The 34401 driver comes with LabVIEW as an example. Help>Find Examples>Hardware Input and Output>instrument Drivers>LabVIEW Plug and Play.

Pleas only advice IVI drivers to people who have no alternative.

If they are installed correctly and used correctly they can work but debugging is much more difficult than with the VISA based drivers.
