I am using IBIC and trying send an LLO with "ibcmd".

I can talk to the instrument fine, but I can't seem to send any GPIB multiline commands with ibcmd.

I'm trying send an LLO with 'ibcmd "\0x11"' (0x11 is the hex value of LLO" I'm probably just not using ibcmd right but I can't seem to find any documentation on the format required for the arguements.

Try using ibcmd "\x11" instead of "\0x11". This works in IBIC (Interactive Control).

ibcmd is a board level command. You will get an EARG error if you try to use it from device level. Try doing "ibfind gpib0", followed by "ibrsc 1", then ibcmd function.
