I have Agilent Bench-Link Software that says it will work with NI PCI-GPIB cards, should it work with the PCI-8212 card?

I need to communicate with an Agilent OSA using their Benchlink Lightwave software on windows 2000. They believe the software should work on 2000 (its only spec'd for 95,98 NT). I need to know what kind of NI GPIB card to get. The software manual says to use a PCI-GPIB card (e.g. for 98). Should NI's PCI-8212 card work with the drivers included in the BenchLink software?

Hello,

The PCI-GPIB and PCI-8212 use the same NI 488.2 driver. Therefore, if Agilent uses our NI 488.2 driver, then you can use either board.

Have a great day.
